Vera Pauw
“Sport can be seen as the ultimate tool for girls and women to develop her self esteem and awareness of her place in society”
 
Vera Pauw is the coach of the Dutch national women’s football team, in addition to working for the FIFA and UEFA. As the former captain Dutch National Women's Football team, she later went on to serve as the National Coach Scotland. Vera is a woman of many firsts: the first Dutch female football player for a professional team in Italy, the first women to earn the highest trainers degree of the Dutch Football federation (KNVB diploma Coach Betaald Voetbal) and the first woman in a position on
FIFA’s Technical Committee.
