In association with the 26th annual Dam tot Damloop run, the Run2Day Ladies run is a four-mile race that is presented by Women Win and le Champion. Money raised for this event will go directly towards supporting MIFUMI - a women's rights organization in Tororo, Uganda. MIFUMI teaches girls lessons of self esteem and prevention of domestic violence through karate and taekwondo training.
In 2009, the Dam to Damloop was one of the biggest running events in the world with 60,000 participants. Among the thousands of runners, a record number of almost 40,000 took part in the Dam tot Dam Business run, including a large number of world class athletes, and in which, brother and sister, Moses and Linet Masai, from Kenya, took first prizes with times of 45.16 and 50.39. Space is limited and the race is sure to sell out.
