Martha Brady
Martha Brady is a Senior Associate at the Population Council where she directs a diverse portfolio of research, policy, and program initiatives on the social, health, and economic empowerment of women in the developing world. Her work focuses on the role of sport in creating safe spaces and building social assets for girls and women.
Martha has 20 years experience in the design and evaluation of programs for girls and women in resource poor settings, and she has lived and/or worked throughout all regions of the developing world. Martha pioneered innovative sport programs for adolescent girls in Kenya and Egypt, and has conducted program evaluations in several countries
