Antony is based in Nairobi, Kenya, and joined Women Win in September 2022 as an Intern in the Ignita team that champions innovative funding strategies to channel resources to local gender / human rights activists, organisations and movements.
In the past 3 years, he has executed 2 piecemeal assignments in the field of gendered rights and the need to address the subordination of adolescent girls and women. He has skills in community engagement through community conversation, and focus group discussion (FGDs), as well as qualitative and quantitative research techniques. He achieved to work with women-only Community-Based Organizations (CBOs) in Mombasa and Kisumu on women’s rights campaigns on menstrual hygiene and family planning. Not only has he collected data from vulnerable groups, but he has also worked with sign language interpreters. His interests are in programme management, strategic funding, and partner development.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Statistics from the University of Nairobi, Kenya, in 2019. During his free time, he spends time playing rugby for Ngong Warriors, a community-based rugby team or going for walks with his dog, Ludo.
