Antony Olando
Antony is based in Nairobi, Kenya and joined Women Win in September 2022 as an Intern with Ignita before starting his role as a Programme Specialist with the LEAP team in February 2023. In his new role, he will be responsible for maintaining a consistent administrative support process and technical support to the GRLS workstreams.
He has skills in community engagement through community conversation, and focus group discussion (FGDs), as well as qualitative and quantitative research techniques. He has achieved to work with women-only Community-Based Organizations (CBOs), SRHR Activists and champions to organize and run women’s rights campaigns on menstrual hygiene and family planning. Not only has he collected data from vulnerable groups, but he has also worked with sign language interpreters. His interests are in program management, and partner development.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Statistics from the University of Nairobi, Kenya. During his free time, he loves to play rugby or go for long walks with his dog, Ludo.
