Mariana Niekamp
Mariana Niekamp is currently interning with Women Win’s U.S. Programmes team. Within her role, she is involved with developing programmes focused on engaging marginalised communities in sports and making strides toward social inclusion.
Mariana received her B.A. in Diplomacy and Global Politics from Miami University, where she is working towards 2022 graduation with her M.S. in Sport Leadership and Management. In 2020, Mariana studied Sport and Culture in the Global Marketplace while in New Zealand.
You can typically find Mariana on the rugby pitch or the basketball court. She is always very happy to see her teammates, students, family, a cute dog, an ice cream cone, or a good cup of coffee.
