Rubina Bishunke

Rubina Bishunke works as the Girls’ Rights and Sports Intern supporting MEL and partner management areas.

She is a Social Work major student anticipating her Master’s Degree thesis from Tribhuvan University in Kirtipur, Nepal, and she has a comprehensive Social Science Bachelor’s degree.

Since 2020, she has been involved in the Women Win Goal project with Child Reach Nepal as a Head Coach, supporting government school girls and women’s rights through sports for their development and life skills associated with the GOAL Modules specifically designed for their rights and empowerment. She was also engaged in the supervisory role at the Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS) for the National Census 2021 Programme for two months.

Her interests include exploring new places, meeting new people, and learning about local history. Her new hobby is boxing, and she enjoys cycling around the neighbourhood. She is a highly motivated individual who takes on a variety of new responsibilities both within and outside of her field of expertise.
