ANNOUNCING OUR 2021 ROLL MODELS<\/h1>\n

Women Win and Skateistan are excited to announce that 20 ROLL Models have been selected for our 2021 programme. These ROLL Models will develop skateboarding projects aimed at encouraging girls and women to get rolling in Belgium, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, the Netherlands and the UK.<\/p>\n

Running for the second year in a row, the ROLL Models programme aims to support female leadership in skateboarding and inspire the next generation of girls to be empowered, active and healthy.<\/p>\n

Each ROLL Model will participate in a leadership development programme, focused on designing and delivering skateboarding projects for girls, with excellence. Since travel restrictions in Europe are ongoing, the ROLL Models will connect with each other via a series of webinars. About ROLL Models<\/h3>\n

GRLS is closely collaborating with Skateistan to create the ROLL Models project since 2019. ROLL Models kick-started on World Mental Health Day in 2019, and currently spans across Belgium, France, Italy, Germany, the Netherlands, Greece, Spain, The Netherlands and The UK. The programme aims to increase the active participation of girls and young women in the social skate sector. Over the course of three years, 72 young female coaches will participate in leadership trainings and knowledge sharing opportunities hosted by GRLS.
