    If you discover that a donation has been made on this website using your charge card or credit card details in circumstances where you had not agreed to or authorised this, and provided you have not, through failure to take reasonable care, allowed an unauthorised person to gain access to your credit card details or password, Women Win is required to refund to you the money they received, provided that:<\/span><\/p>\n

      We are however aware that this will not always turn out to everyone\u2019s satisfaction.<\/span><\/p>\n

      It is for this reason that we welcome, and take seriously, feedback from our stakeholders and have in place a formal complaints and appeals process.<\/span><\/p>\n

      Complaints are handled with care and attention and can be made by a donor, partner or grantee who is in disagreement with a Women Win decision or the manner that Women Win has handled donations, correspondence or public relations.<\/span>[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n

      The Procedure<\/h2>\n

      [\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]A complaint must be submitted in writing within two months after the date of the decision or the event it regards, addressed to the Chief Operating Officer of Women Win.<\/span><\/p>\n

      In order to address and settle your complaint in an optimal way, we would like to receive the following information:<\/span><\/p>\n

      • Description of complaint or suggestion<\/span><\/li>\n
      • Description of how and when the complaint arose<\/span><\/li>\n
      • Your name, telephone number and e-mail address<\/span><\/li>\n
      • Your relation to Women Win (e.g. donor, sponsor, grantee, partner, supplier, stakeholder, or other)<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        An acknowledgement of receipt will be sent, either by email or letter.<\/span><\/p>\n

        The complaint is registered at Women Win. Complaints are reviewed and evaluated on a regular basis.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

        The complaint will initially be handled by the employee directly involved and, if required, by the director of the department in question.<\/span><\/p>\n

        A response can be expected within three weeks of receipt.<\/span><\/p>\n

        If this deadline is not feasible, a written note will be sent giving the reason for the delay and a new deadline for the settlement of the complaint.<\/span><\/p>\n

        If the person or organisation who filed the complaint disagrees with the response, it is possible to lodge an appeal.<\/span><\/p>\n

        The appeal must be submitted within four weeks and be addressed to the Executive Director.<\/span><\/p>\n

        The second assessment focuses on the care with which the complaints procedure has been followed.<\/span><\/p>\n

        A response on the appeal will be sent within three weeks of receipt. If this deadline is not feasible, a written note will be sent giving the reason for the delay and a new deadline for the settlement of the appeal.<\/span><\/p>\n

        This second assessment is final and cannot be re-appealed.<\/span><\/p>\n
