Kimberly joined Women Win in 2019 as Programmes Specialist. In her role, she supports the Programmes Managers in delivering high-quality workshops while also managing a portfolio of local implementing partners.
Before joining Women Win, Kimberly worked at the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs where she promoted responsible business conduct, gender and sustainable value chains. Education-wise, Kimberly holds an MSc in International Development at the University of Manchester and a BSc in Global Public Health from Leiden University College.
Kimberly’s second home is in Nairobi where she worked and lived for two years. Here she co-founded a social enterprise in an Internally Displaced People’s Camp and worked as a Programme Coordinator for a local NGO focusing on health projects in Nairobi’s slum areas.
Growing up, Kimberly loved to dance and play volleyball - getting the most out of an individual and team sport. This year she wants to try something new and start learning how to surf!
