Football for All in Vietnam (FFAV)

Established in 2001, Football For All Vietnam (FFAV) aims to develop children’s non-competitive grassroots football in primary and secondary schools, while creating inclusive playgrounds for marginalized groups. Currently, they have 216 football clubs with more than 19,000 players of the age from 6-15 (50% girls) and more than 5,900 people have been trained as coaches, leaders, referees and life-skills facilitators.

FFAV programs and clubs provide an accessible environment for all children to play football and experience life skills education through various physical activity games. FFAV’s approach also includes educating parents, volunteers and teachers, and empowering local communities to create sustainable grassroots football structures.

Women Win began partnering with FFAV in 2014 with the intent of enhancing and broadening the organisations work with adolescent girls. With the support of Women Win, FFAV has been/is implementing the Goal program in various clubs in Hue, Hanoi, and Ho Chi Minh provinces.
