The programme is supported by the Subsidy Programme for Responsible Business, as part of the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO) and commissioned by the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs and includes activities in the Netherlands and in Kenya. At its centre, it aims to improve climate resilience with women workers, building their economic resilience and preparing farms for climate emergencies; designed to be measured, learned from, and shared across the floriculture sector.[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=&#8221;50px&#8221;][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;]<\/p>\n<div class=\"wpb_text_column wpb_content_element title-style-custom subtitlte-green\">\n<div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n<h4><span style=\"color: #57c476;\"><b>Resilient Farms Need Resilient Workers<\/b><\/span><\/h4>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"wpb_text_column wpb_content_element\">\n<div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n<p>Between June 2025 and January 2026, the consortium conducted research that examined the intersection of climate and gender in Kenya\u2019s floriculture sector, guided by two questions:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>How does the climate crisis affect the working conditions of women workers?<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>What adaptive strategies can companies implement to strengthen their long-term economic resilience in a world with a changing climate?<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div class=\"wpb_text_column wpb_content_element\">\n<p class=\"wpb_wrapper\">Drawing on testimonies from 489 people, including workers, managers and sector experts, the research shares key findings and outlines the next steps for the work ahead. These insights have also informed the development of interventions to strengthen climate resilience, with women workers at the
