It all began with

empowerment

Driven by the vision of a future where every girl and woman exercises her rights, Win-Win Strategies harnesses a building block approach to Women’s Economic Empowerment (WEE) – one which addresses underlying structural barriers that women face in striving to become full participants in their economies and societies.

Through consulting, training, and partner-building services, Win-Win Strategies supports companies and organisations to expand the impact, extend the scale, and increase the return of investment in women’s economic resilience programmes.

Our approach became even stronger with resilience

Many private institutions understood the importance of women’s economic empowerment (WEE) across their value chains. However, their WEE programmes often overlooked the aspect of resilience as well as the multiple and inter-locking building blocks of WEE, such as freedom from violence, control over reproductive health, and land rights. Furthermore, most companies were opting to partner with INGOs instead of mobilising their programmes through women’s funds and local women’s organisations. In addressing these gaps, WWS successfully and effectively links private sector investments to the women’s funds and organisations best equipped to support companies to advance Women’s Economic Resilience (WER) across their value chains.
