Wieteke Graven

Wieteke Graven is a Partner at McKinsey & Company in Amsterdam. She rejoined McKinsey in January 2017 after 3,5 years at Royal Dutch Shell, the world largest oil and gas company, where she served as a Chief of Staff to the Projects & Technology Director, one of the members of Shell’s Executive Committee.  Before her time at Shell, Wieteke spent 6 years at McKinsey & Company, focusing on strategic, organisational transformation and risk topics in the financial services sector.

Wieteke obtained her MSc degree in Economics, specializing in Finance, at the University of Maastricht in 2001. She began her career in the financial markets of Tokyo and London, working on the trading floors of respectively ING Financial Markets and Credit Suisse Securities. In 2007, Wieteke moved back to the Netherlands and made a career move into strategy consulting. 

Wieteke lives with her family, husband and two kids, in Amsterdam and enjoys sports, travelling, modern photography and cooking and dining.
