One Win Leads to Another (OWLA) was established in 2015 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil through a partnership between UN Women, the International Olympic Committee and Women Win. A legacy programme of the 2016 Rio Olympic Games, OWLA leverages sport and life skills education to build leadership and empower adolescent girls. The programme creates safe spaces for girls, and gives them tools and knowledge to break down social barriers and access services if experiencing violence.

Women Win provides technical assistance to OWLA, supporting with programme design, curriculum development, establishing monitoring and evaluation systems and tools, and building the capacity of local partners to implement the sports and life skills curriculum.

In 2019, the OWLA programme will be expanding to Buenos Aires, Argentina. Women Win will be working with partners to adapt the OWLA programme to suit the local context and building the capacity of implementing organisations to deliver quality sport and life skills programming.
