Kitty Macklin

Kitty first joined Women Win as an intern in 2018, before officially becoming a Programmes Specialist in May 2019. In her role, she manages a diverse portfolio of implementing partners and programmes, as well as forming part of the Impact Team, working to implement the Women Win Impact Strategy.

Kitty holds a BSc in Translation Studies from Aston University, in which her dissertation focused on feminist translation, as well as an MA in Gender Studies from Utrecht University, where her thesis explored the impact of sport and life skills programmes for adolescent girls in addressing gender-based violence.

As a keen runner, Kitty has found running to be key for both her physical and mental health. She is passionate about combining the power of sport and feminism, supporting adolescent girls and women to break gender norms, strengthen their self-confidence and exercise their rights.
