Virginia Munyua
Virginia joined Women Win in 2021. In her role, she manages a diverse portfolio of global programmes targeting adolescent girls and young women that leverage the power of sports and play in advancing gender justice.
Virginia holds a Master of Arts in Gender and Development Studies from the University of Nairobi and has a background in gender, business and human rights. She has extensive experience in women’s economic empowerment programming, having supported collaborative projects with private sector and non-profit organisations for over 16 years in Africa.
Virginia is from Kenya and resides in Nairobi. She enjoys taking long walks, hanging out with family and friends, and catching up on a good movie in her free time.
