Blanca Correro

Blanca is a dynamic early-career professional passionate about gender equality, inclusive development, youth empowerment, and LGBTQ+ inclusion. She is currently supporting the ONSIDE team at Women Win, contributing to the implementation of flagship initiatives such as the ONSIDE Fund, Secure Futures, and Goal Accelerator. Her work focuses on project management, monitoring and evaluation, and supporting participatory grant-making processes.

Based in Vienna, Austria, and originally from Spain, Blanca previously worked with the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), where she contributed to gender mainstreaming and inclusive sustainable industrial development. At UNIDO, she supported international project reviews, drafted gender-focused policy analyses, and coordinated communications with UN Ambassadors and Member States.

With a strong background in global affairs and a deep commitment to feminist and inclusive principles, Blanca has also worked to amplify youth voices at the European level through the Spanish Youth Council. At the Diplomatic Academy of Vienna, where she is currently finishing her Master of Advanced International Studies, she plays a key role in community-building and serves as President of the Queer Society. In this role, she fosters dialogue around LGBTQ+ rights within international relations and organizes inclusive events, most notably Vienna Pride in collaboration with @DiplomatsForEquality.

Blanca is deeply committed to amplifying the voices of LGBTQ+ youth and integrating queer perspectives into global conversations on social justice and equity.

She’s also passionate about music: Blanca is a dedicated Swiftie, loves concerts and musicals, and spent eight years studying classical piano at a conservatory. As a true Gen Z, she’s into tarot, astrology, and all things energy.
